A new adventure in store...

Autumn quarter has started at UW and this will be my last quarter as an undergraduate! I graduate in December with a B.S./B.A. in Biology and Environmental Studies. Dad and I are taking a quick trip to D.C. for my cousin Sydney's Bat-Mitzvah shortly after.

On January 9th Dad and I are flying to Vietnam for a kite-boarding vacation together. Dad is excited to make me a "board-head" and I'm excited to learn. The prospect of us traveling together for 3+ weeks awaits judgment...

Dad will return home a month later. I however have a round trip ticket for Seattle-Vietnam from January 9 to May 26. 5 months to travel Asia, the majority of that time I will be alone.

Some ideas to fill the time, I definitely can't do all of them:
-Travel from Vietnam to India, fly back to Vietnam in time for my flight in May.
-Spend a month getting further certified in SCUBA diving somewhere.
-Make my way all the way up to Tibet in May, I like the idea of taking the Friendship Hwy from Nepal.
-Spend a week+ in a city in India and take tons of dance classes.
-Contact salsa schools in major cities in advance and try to organize workshops for me to teach.

My travel plans are completely unknown still, for now I am just starting to apply for Visas.

I already know I'm going to miss friends and family terribly. My only solace for knowing how much I'm going to miss Atish are the tentative, and exciting, plans for him to meet me in India for several weeks. That would be incredible.

But aside from homesickness, I am excited and nervous for this trip. It is by far the most ambitious and adventurous traveling I will have done.

Let me know if you have suggestions where I should venture!
